The Gulfstream G700 is a ultra long range aircraft with a maximum range of 7,750 nm, 19 seats. SkyAccess tracks 8 active Gulfstream G700 aircraft across 5 FAA Part 135 charter operators, with 4 upcoming empty legs published on this type.
Gulfstream revealed its groundbreaking G700 business jet at the 2019 National Business Aviation Association Convention & Exhibition in Las Vegas, Nevada. The aircraft underwent extensive lab testing with almost 14,000 hours in the lab, including successful ground vibration testing, engine runs, and all structural testing necessary for its maiden flight. The Gulfstream G700 boasts a cabin among the tallest, widest and longest in the industry, accommodating up to 19 passengers and offering sleeping arrangements for 13 individuals. Gulfstream President Mark Burns described the G700 as an advanced-technology aircraft that redefines safety, comfort, and range at speed, uniting the best elements from the company's innovative products with cutting-edge advances. Gulfstream announced enhancements in the G700's performance and increased cabin comfort for passengers. These include increased speed and range, improvements in cabin altitude, 20 of the largest windows in the market, a high-definition circadian lighting system, and award-winning seats with superior ergonomics and increased comfort preferences. Additionally, the Gulfstream G700 is equipped with Jet ConneX Ka-band Wi-Fi at no extra cost, delivered by Inmarsat in cooperation with Honeywell for extra comfort. The Gulfstream G700 features the most sophisticated avionics available, including the Gulfstream Symmetry Flight Deck, Predictive Landing Performance System, Dual Head-Up Displays, and Synthetic Vision with Dual Head-Up Displays. Its Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engine provides exceptional takeoff thrust, with an 8 percent improvement compared to the engines predecessor, the BR725. The engine's low noise and pollution performance remains unsurpassed, while its thrust-to-weight ratio has been improved by 12 percent, and its efficiency increased by 5 percent. Each Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engine provides 18,250 pounds (81.20 kN) of takeoff thrust, which contributes to the performance of the large jetliner in the sky. This engine was built specifically for the Gulfstream G700 and customers can now travel at speeds rivaling the speed of sound. The G700's range has increased to 7,750 nautical miles at Mach 0.85 or 6,650 nm at Mach 0.90, and its maximum operating speed has surged to Mach 0.935, making it the fastest in the Gulfstream fleet. The cabin altitude has also been reduced to 2,916 feet while flying at 41,000 feet, providing passengers with an even higher level of comfort. The Gulfstream G700 is priced at $79 million and saw its first two deliveries shortly after obtaining FAA certification on March 29, 2024. Both aircraft are currently in service, marking a significant milestone for Gulfstream.
