The Dassault Falcon 2000 is a French business jet and a member of Dassault Aviation's Falcon business jet line. Certified in 1994, it is a twin-engine, slightly smaller development of the Falcon 900 trijet, with transcontinental range. Powered by two CFE 738-1-1B engines with 5,918 pounds of thrust each, the Falcon 2000 can travel up to 3,130 nm. In the cockpit is the Collins Pro Line 4 fully integrated avionics suite, featuring an Allied Signal GNS-XES Flight Management System, a Collins TWR-850 Doppler weather radar, and a dual channel Integrated Avionics Processor System. Although the Falcon 2000 was announced as an economical jet, it has exceeded expectations in its performance, with a high speed cruise of 479 knots at 39,000 feet and climb rate of 3,730 feet per minute. Production of the Falcon 2000 ended in 2006, with a total of 230 aircraft in operation today. All of these are pre-owned, and 10% are currently for sale on the market. North America holds the largest percentage of the fleet with 70%, and Europe has 18%. An additional 35% are operated by NetJets.
